BOOK REVIEW by OnTheIssues.org:

This book provides a mini-biography for each of 5 leading candidates in the Democratic primary. It's written as 5 mini-books about fifty pages each, with 5 separate tables of contents, then a brief life story of each of the 5 candidates, then a summary of 5 sets of issue stances.

This book was published in July 2019, when there were over an additional dozen contenders in the Democratic primary. For example, the primary debate in July 2019 had twenty participants. And to be published in July, the book had to be written several months earlier, so the author chose his biographical subjects well. We're excerpting this book after the 2020 election, so we focus on Biden and Harris -- in fact, we excerpted this book BECAUSE it included Biden and Harris!

Each mini-book opens with an epithet about the candidate:

    1. Joe Biden: Protector of the Democracy
    2. Bernie Sanders: America's Socialist Savior
    3. Elizabeth Warren: The Woman With a Plan
    4. Kamala Harris: A Biography
    5. Cory Booker: A Biography
This book doesn't dive deeply into any candidate -- it's independently published and very poorly edited -- but the author has dug up enough little-known details so it's a decent introduction to each of the five candidates.
